First Aid & CPR/AED Training

The First Aid, CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training is a certification from the most trusted name in health and safety training. These courses combine lecture, demonstrations and video combined with hands-on training and practice. Participants in these courses learn to recognize and respond to emergencies including shock, cardiac and breathing emergencies, heat and cold emergencies, sudden illnesses and poisonings. Additionally, participants will learn first aid for everything from cuts and scrapes to muscle, bone and joint injuries. Prepare your staff with the knowledge and skills necessary to prevent, recognize, and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses until advanced medical personnel arrive and take over.
Adult CPR / Automated External Defibrillation (AED)
Learn the two skills to save a cardiac arrest victim – CPR and AED. Almost a third of sudden cardiac arrest deaths can be prevented if an AED is used immediately. The latest in lifesaving technology for the workplace, the AED device allows the user to deliver a shock to help reestablish an effective heart rhythm. Designed for lay people, the class includes:
- The signs and symptoms of a heart attack
- Caring for an adult who has stopped breathing
- Giving CPR to an adult whose heart has stopped
- Automated External Defibrillation (AED) instruction
- How to use emergency medical services effectively
- Unique training materials for skills retention
- Child and Infant CPR also available
Standard First Aid
This comprehensive course provides the essential knowledge to act in life-threatening emergencies, including:
- How to determine the safe response to an emergency situation
- Recognizing and caring for life-threatening emergencies in adults, such as respiratory and cardiac problems and choking
- Treating injuries, including severe cuts and burns, sprains and strains
- Treating sudden illnesses, such as poisonings, bites, stings, diabetic reactions, strokes, etc.
- Recognizing and treating heat and cold emergencies, such as heat stroke and hypothermia
Flexible Scheduling
Our certified instructors are available at a time convenient for you. We offer pre-scheduled classes at our location or we can come to you. Worksite instruction is also available to ease the training difficulties and allow the employer to schedule their staff to meet their training needs.

These programs adhere to Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s training requirements and ensure OSHA’s mission to “save lives, prevent injuries and protect the health of American workers.” CPR and First Aid courses meet the Emergency Cardiovascular Care 2000 Guidelines and OSHA's Guidelines for First Aid.
